    Awards and Scholarships

The NGCSA Board of Directors is pleased to announce its Scholarship Program
funded and administered by the Nebraska Golf Course Superintendents Association.

The mission of NGCSA is to support and improve the golf course superintendents’
profession by providing educational opportunities, affording fellowship and networking,
promoting the game of golf, endowing funds for scholarship and research, and
communicating the positive impact golf has on the environment.

To further its mission, NGCSA will award one (1) scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to
any applicant currently enrolled in a Turfgrass Management, Golf Course Management,
or related curriculum at Nebraska Universities/Colleges, Nebraska Area Technical
Schools, and Nebraska Community Colleges.  All applicants must be a collegiate
sophomore, junior, or senior who has completed his or her first year in a turfgrass or
    golf course management program.

Applications will be reviewed by the NGCSA Board of Directors.  All decisions of the
NGCSA Board of Directors will be final.  Applicants will be notified by mail of their status
    by June 1.

To get a copy of the scholarship application, please contact Katy at the NGCSA office at 402.476.1188.
